Black Metallics

Hi guys! Today I'm going to share a dressy outfit with ye that I can't wait to wear on a night out soon. I actually picked up both clothing pieces in the January sales so you can definitely look just as fashionable when you're going out on a budget.

I love how this top has so many little details that add so much more than a basic bardot top. It has the ruching at the sides which means it has a straight top, it has a layer and it also has slight bell shaped sleeves. It looks a lot more expensive because of these little details. 

I'm not usually one to wear anything out there. I stick to neutral colours and classic textures but when I saw this skirt on sale I had to pick it up. It was quite a hard piece to style because it is so out there and I wanted to make it wearable.

This outfit is giving off such 60's vibes with the bell sleeves and the a-line skirt. It's quite a modern way to pull off the retro trends.

 When you're wearing a statement item it's best to pair it with simple, classic and neutral pieces. That's why I paired this skirt with an all black outfit so it can be the focal point of the outfit. I added my everyday jewellery along with some classic black strappy heels to finish the look.
