If you follow me on Snapchat you're definitely not a stranger to my everyday outfit photos and apparently some of ye are great fans of seeing what I wear so I decided to turn it into a blogpost. This week I took a break from showing ye my outfits on Snapchat and saved them for today instead. As you can probably see I wear quite a mix of things to college, some days are dressier than others and some are jumper and jeans sort of days. So I hope ye enjoy seeing what I wore this week.
I definitely plan my outfits for what I'm doing that day whether I have a long day in college or am meeting someone and want to look nice, so some days I'm literally wearing a hoodie and jeans and others I'll be in a dress it's very varied. It goes without saying that I wear a coat over all of these because it's Ireland and its been fecking freezing this week! Another thing to note is the fact that I legit live in two pairs of shoes, my Vans and my flat ankle boots. I do a lot of walking to and from and even around college so comfortable shoes are key. I also wear the same jewellery every day which consists of a vintage Gucci watch and an Alex & Ani bangle.
Monday
Monday is usually the day I want to be the most comfortable because nobody likes to start the week with a 9am, but this week I was doing an interview on Monday so I wanted to look a bit more put together. I started off with this black skirt that I love because it has a bit more detail than a plain black skirt with the wrapped effect. It was so cold so I added a big warm jumper on the top and my usual black ankle boots and a pair of tights. It's a simple monochromatic look that isn't too plain with the cable knit in the jumper and the tied skirt.
Jumper - Penneys
Skirt - New Look (altered by The Zipyard)
Boots - New Look
Tuesday
Since Monday was my more dressed up day I went comfortable for Tuesday. Tuesday is myself and Cloda's shoot day so I opted for this jumper that I wanted to get some shots of as well as some plain black jeans. I finished it all off with my 'Old Skool' Vans. It's quite a classic outfit as it has an all black base but the coloured embroidery on the jumper and white details on the shoes add some interest to the outfit.
Jumper - Stradivarius
Jeans - Topshop
Shoes - Vans
Wednesday
I actually had a quartet gig in college on Wednesday and needed to wear all black so I decided to wear a casual t-shirt dress and boots because I wasn't bothered getting changed for the gig. I threw over a vintage cardigan that was actually my mom's to add some warmth and interest to an all black outfit. I'm definitely loving the look of cream and black together at the moment, it's plain and simple but has a bit more to it than plain black and white.
Dress - Missguided
Cardigan - Vintage
Boots - New Look
Thursday
Thursday is my longest day in college because of a lab and I don't know about you but I hate wearing tights for long periods of time, so jeans it was. I am still loving these straight leg jeans that I bought recently. I always wear my Vans with them to keep the casual vibe to them. I added a turtleneck jumper on top again because it was freezing this week and I think jumpers and jeans are such a handy way to go for college. To add something more interesting to the outfit I paired it with a simple black and gold belt.
Jumper & Belt - Penneys
Jeans - Topshop
Shoes - Vans
Friday
Because the weekend was here I decided to go for something casual but a bit fun. I'm loving this t-shirt you've probably seen it on my Instagram, I paired that with a simple denim skirt, tights, and my usual boots. I threw on this red cardigan for both a bit of colour and warmth. And like Thursday's outfit I added a black and gold belt.
T-shirt - Topshop
Skirt - H&M
Cardigan & Belt - Penneys
Boots - New Look
So there we have it, what I wore this week! Definitely let me knew whether you prefer seeing my outfits on Snapchat every morning or whether you'd like to see more outfit of the day blogposts.
