Hey guys! I did a few of these type of posts where I'd pick up a few products from a brand I haven't tried a lot from and share my first impressions with ye. I decided to do that again and try some bits from Flormar as all I've tried from them is their illuminating primer and have really wanted to try more from the brand. I picked up two new products to try today and I'll tell ye all about what I think about them so let's get into it.
Flormar is definitely a brand that is becoming more readily available in Cork as you can pick them up in Phelans Pharmacy on Grand Parade as well as Penneys and both places have a great range from the brand there.
Flormar Illuminating Primer
As I said I already had tried out this primer from the brand and that got me wanting to try more from the brand. I thought I'd share my thoughts on this with ye just in case ye were in the market for a new primer. You can tell that I've had this in my collection a while because it's almost gone, I picked it up during the summer and once I run out of it I'll be picking up another one asap. It has a really light feel on the skin and a slight scent that's really nice and fresh. It sinks into the skin really well, almost straight away when applied, and has a slight silicone smoothing feel to the skin. It leaves the skin very slightly tacky which is what you want so your makeup lasts. It has a bit of a glow to it but no shimmer or glitter so it's lovely under foundations to create a healthy glow. I use two pumps for my whole face or else one pump if I just want to apply it to the high points of my face. I think this is perfect for any skin type as it has a smoothing affect and isn't drying, if you're like me and have a slight shine to your skin I would say powder your t-zone and you're ready to go.
Flormar Perfect Coverage Foundation - 105
This is the first product I picked up recently to try out for this blogpost. I found trying to get a good colour match in this foundation quite difficult because 101 isn't the lightest colour so its kind of confusing but I'm fairly sure 105 is the palest. It has a very light scent and has definitely a pink undertone. I found applying it with a brush gave a medium buildable coverage and a sponge gave quite a light coverage. I was expecting it to have a higher coverage to be honest but it is definitely buildable and quite versatile as you can use it for both heavier and lighter makeup looks.
It is definitely the perfect colour for me and it dries into the skin quite quickly when blended in so I would suggest working in sections so you have plenty of time to blend it. I must say that it oxidised really slightly but I could have noticed that just because I'm so pale but once blended down my neck it was perfect. I would say it has a satin finish but when I used it with the primer it was lovely and glowy. I tested it out when my skin was bad so I was very judgy coverage-wise because I did have a lot to cover. This is definitely a fab foundation and looks lovely on the skin, I definitely need to try it a bit more and figure out what way to apply to best suit my skin but I'd say it's a good medium coverage foundation that's good to use during the day or else for a lighter finish for a night time look.
Flormar Eyebrow Fixator Mascara
I wanted to pick up a brow product of some sort because I've been trying out a different sort of look for my brows lately. I've loved the look of fluffier brushed up brows so I said this could be a handy product to keep the hairs brushed up, to give a feathery look without adding more colour. So I started off with a brow pencil underneath and then brushed this brow gel over the top. It has a really cool brush and I actually took off most of the product before applying it so I wouldn't get too much product on. It was quite wet when it was applied so I was afraid it wouldnt dry down, but by the time I did the rest of my makeup it dried down. I'd say definitely less is more with this product but it kept my brows in place without them feeling crispy or hard. It did exactly what I was looking for, keep my brows in place without adding any extra colour.
So there we have it, my Flormar first impressions. If there are any Flormar products you think I should try let me know, or else if there is another brand you'd like to see me do a first impressions on then let me know,

Nice post! All the products sound amazing especially the foundation since it is so pale. It's definitely going on my wishlist.
