New Kids On The Block

This post is kind of a mixture between a favourites, review and a haul. All of these products are new to me and I accumulated them in the last month between Christmas, sale shopping and my birthday. I have been loving these products recently and I wanted to share them all with you, so let's get started!

Lush Cup O Coffee Face Mask
A while ago Lush have brought some of their Oxford Street exclusive product to all of the Lush stores and I'm so glad they did as this is one of the products. It is another of their masks but it isn't a fresh mask which I love because it won't go off as quickly as the fresh masks do. I love their Mask of Magnaminty so much and I received this for Christmas so I was looking forward to trying it. It has a very very strong coffee scent so if you're a coffee addict I suggest picking one of these up as fast as you can! Although I dislike the taste of coffee I can put up with the smell of it. This mask is quite different to the Mask of Magnaminty which is quite nice. Although it doesn't target breakouts it exfoliates and brightens the skin which is prefect for a mid-week pamper. I have been using this once a week now and I have definitely noticed that my skin isn't as dull at the end of the week as it used to be.

Urban Decay Naked Palette
It was my birthday on the 30th of December and I was completely spoiled rotten! This was a birthday present from my older brother (no he's not that good at picking out makeup, I had dropped a few hints!) and I have been using it ever since. I have always wanted a Naked palette but could never justify the price so when my 18th birthday rolled around I had this on my wish list. I am glad I went for the original palette. Although the packaging is already grubby I love the neutral warm tones that it contains. If you have the budget I would definitely recommend this for any beginners or lovers of makeup. The shadows are so buttery, pigmented and easy to blend, you just can't fault them.

Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter - Crème Brûlée
When I ordered some Revlon products on Black Friday I received a free gift with purchase which I was delighted about! It contained a nail polish, mascara, eyeshadow quad and this lip butter. Everything was very neutral which is very much up my street. I hadn't tried a huge amount of Revlon before this so I was very excited to try out some more of their products. This was definitely my favourite thing. It's the perfect nude lipstick for me. It isn't too light or too brown or doesn't look like I put concealer on my lips. It adds a sheer wash of nude which is perfect for any bold eye look.

Nails IncGel Effect Nail Polish - Regents Place
I always have amazing luck in TK Maxx and I found some wonderful bits when I was there the last time, including this nail polish. I love Nails Inc polishes already and I'm really interested in picking up a few more shades of their polishes. I struck gold when I came across this gel effect polish in the most amazing powder blue colour. It's quite a muted blue but it isn't a pastel which I love. It lasts quite a long time on the nails and is so incredibly glossy. I am so happy I decided to pick this and I am definitely going to pick up more of their polishes in the future.

Joe Malone Cologne - Peony & Blush Suede Cologne
This was another birthday gift, and it is just heaven in a bottle. I didn't know what I wanted for my birthday but I realised that I didn't own a perfume that I really like and called my 'signature scent'. it took me quite a few visits to the Joe Malone counter to finally pick out this. This is honestly heaven in a bottle it smells quite floral and fresh. I'm terrible at describing scents so I'll leave it at that! I really love Joe Malone perfumes as they smell incredible but don't have that perfumey scent if that makes any sense?! You can probably guess that I have been wearing this perfume non stop and have fallen head over heels in love with it.

About Face by Aisling McDermott with Laura Kennedy
My brothers did very well this year with my Christmas present. Apparently I had my eye on this book during the year but I have no recollection of that! This beauty bible has incredible photography and my brothers thought it was similar to my style of photography, that's why they picked it up, which I thought was so nice of them. Along with the amazing photos to look at it has great advice and tips to do with makeup and skincare which is what I am really interested in. This has been my bedtime reading recently and I am really enjoying it. I am a beauty book junkie so it was the
perfect gift for me!
