Hey guys! I hope you are all well. Today I'm going to share my top lip colour picks for Valentine's day whether you're spending the day with your friends and family or with a special someone, these lip balms from Revlon will last all day and won't budge.
From left to right Revlon Balm Stain - Honey,
Revlon Lacquer Balm - Demure, Revlon Matte Balm - Standout.
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Honey
This is the most natural out of the three although it is not the lightest. I would describe the colour as a honey toned pink, a pinky nude. This balm also stains the lips so once the initial colour fades it will fade into a stain so there is a colour on your lips all day. The balm has a lovely peppermint scent but it isn't too strong which is what I like most about it. This lip colour would be perfect for a casual day paired with a simple taupe shadow on the eyes.
Revlon Colourburst Lacquer Balm - Demure
This is the lightest lip balm from this trio. Again this has a minty smell but it isn't as strong as the first balm. This is a lacquer so it has a lovely gloss to it. Although it lasts longer than a lipstick you would still need to reapply it during the day. This is a muted peachy pink balm so it adds colour to the lips but definitely isn't very bright, which is what I love about it. I can imagine this lip colour with dewy skin and some defined brows for a lunch or coffee date.
Revlon Colourbust Matte Valm - Standout
It's easy to tell that this is the darkest and boldest of the three shades. Although it is a dark shade it is not as bright as other reds so I think it is easier to pull off. It's a gorgeous berry toned red that has a slight mint scent to it like the others. It's a matte balm so it will last a long time on the lips but will be comfortable to wear as it is a balm. This would be a gorgeous night time look paired with a contoured face and a very simple eye look.
What's your favourite lip colour to wear?
