Two Years Of The Red Brunette

On the 21st of February 2 years ago I made the best decision that I have ever made in my life, I created The Red Brunette. Back then I was interested in the whole beauty community and industry but I had no idea what to do or how to do it. After 2 years of creating and being a part of this blogging community I honestly do not know what I would do without it.

Today I am going to share some of my favourite blogposts from the past year. There are outfits and makeup tutorials, product reviews and guest models and finally there have been my campaign sort of posts like 'GayIsOk' and 'Excuse My Face I have No Makeup On'.

This past year has been the best and worst year, blogging wise. I reached 10,000 views which may be a daily goal for some people but I was never so proud in my life! January last year was when I got sick and unfortunately I'm still not 100% so during the year I may have missed one or two upload days because of that.

These past few months in particular I have had to write my blogposts in bulk as I am in sixth year and have to sit exams in June. I didn't realise until now how much I missed blogging continuously and I cannot wait until the summer when I can blog whenever I want. Next year I plan on going to college and hopefully I will have much more time to spend on my blog and creating posts and content.

I have always enjoyed writing and photography before blogging and my interest in fashion and beauty was growing and growing. Blogging is all of my favourite things rolled into one, which I am so thankful for. I don't do it to be cool or to get views, I do it because I love doing it. I adore planning posts and take the pictures and getting up early to write them. I love the feeling at 7pm on a Friday when I know a new post just went live. I love when someone says to me that they liked my last post or are looking forward to the next one. The best feeling is when you're communicating with other people who share the same passion as you for blogging. I have met some amazing people this year  and made some incredible friends. I am so excited to make even more this year.

Before I go I just want to say thank you, for reading my blog or commenting or following me on social media, thank you for supporting me. Here's to another great year of The Red Brunette!
