Beauty Empties

Hey guys! Today I'm going to share my empties with you. If you don't know what an 'empties' is it is basically where you share what products you have used up and are now empty. You never know what your full opinion of a product is until you finish it completely. I'm going to share my beauty rubbish with you today and let you know what I think of them and whether I would repurchase them or not.

La Roche Posay Serozinc
This used to be my go to toner and I kept repurchasing it everytime I ran out. However it is quite expensive as it runs out fairly quickly. This is so great for any problematic skin as it fights spots but is also gentle on the skin. I always love the way my skin is when I'm using this toner because I find that I don't have any under the skin type of spots. I will definitely repurchase this in the future if my skin is going through a bit of a rough patch when it comes to acne but I definitely won't be using it as my everyday toner because it is quite expensive because it runs out very quickly!

Simple Kind To Skin Micellar Cleansing Water
At the start of using this micellar water I really enjoyed it but towards the end of the bottle I found that it didn't really do much when it came to makeup removal. I got this when it first came out (because it was on offer) and I heard so much hype around it. All the other Simple products I tried I liked so I decided to give it a go. I loved the way it worked on my skin, it left it feeling refreshed and not irritated but I always found that I had makeup left on my face. When it came to long-wearing products this micellar water just didn't do a good job. I then started to use it just to remove swatches on the back of my hand and again, it didn't seem powerful enough to remove makeup. I would definitely recommend Bioderma or Garnier micellar waters over this one and I definitely won't be repurchasing this one again.
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser
I bought this cleanser when I was in London before you could get it in Ireland, so thank god I am able to repurchase it here! I have used his creamy cleanser as a makeup remover and I really enjoyed using it. It took off every single bit of makeup including waterproof mascara. It was very gentle on the skin and didn't leave my face feeling sensitive or irritated. The only thing I didn't like about this was the fact you ha to use water with it so if I was out late and about to hop into bed I didn't reach for this. Other than that I loved it and I would definitely repurchase it in the future.

Lush Eau Roma Toner Water
Whenever I run out of this toner I realise how amazing it is and how it works wonders for my skin! The next time I can go into town I'm going straight to repurchase the biggest bottle of this. This toner is in a spray bottle which I love because the fritz feels so refreshing on my skin. It also contains rose and lavender which both calm and lightly hydrate the skin. My skin always seems more balanced and less likely to freak out when I am using this toner. If you haven't tried toners from Lush I would definitely recommend you do. They're all fab but this is definitely my favourite one.
Aveeno Daily Moisturising Creamy Oil
I am an avid Aveeno user and I will always repurchase it. When I went to repurchase the usual Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion I saw they had a creamy oil. It said that it combines the benefits of an oil with the convenience of a cream which sounded ideal. It really just liked what it said on the tin. It moisturised like an oil but sunk in like a cream which worked really well on my skin. I definitely will repurchase this when I need more body lotion because this is great for eczema-prone, dry and sensitive skin.

Jergens Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning Body Moisturiser
My mom got this from a friend and of course I asked could I try it because I love trying new products, especially when you can't get them in Ireland. So I actually don't know that much about Jergens but I am pretty sure it's a drugstore brand so it's easy to get and quite affordable. This body lotion smells incredible. It is quite a thick and oily body lotion but I wouldn't class it as a body butter. I love using this after I have a shower because it leaves my skin moisturised, soft and smelling amazing. It has a natural, gentle scent so it doesn't irritate my eczema-prone skin. I would definitely repurchase this if I could but if you're in the States or live somewhere that you can get Jargons then definitely give this body lotion a go.
Mitchum Advanced Control Powder Fresh Anti Perspirant
Everyone uses deodorant (well I hope everyone does) so I didn't think it would be weird to share my favourite with you. I love Mitchum because it actually works. I prefer to use the stick version because   it doesn't need time to dry like the roll on version. The 'fresh' scent is really nice because as you would guess it's nice and fresh and refreshing. There is really nothing else I can say about a deodorant, only that I would definitely recommend Mitchum as a brand if you have tried any of their products before and this is my personal favourite.

Dove Derma Spa Summer Revived Body Lotion - Fair to Medium Skin
Back in May I decided to give gradual tan a go because I am always so conscious about my milk bottle legs. I was slightly terrified that it would come out orange because I am that pale but I am delighted to say that I wasn't an oompa loompa! I was able to do a couple of layers of this to add a bronze glow that still looked natural. This lotion also had an incredible scent so I loved when I used it. I am currently trying out a few different gradual tans but I am definitely going to repurchase this when I run out because I can count on this one to add a nice glow without looking false. I would definitely give this a go if you're into your fake tans, or gradual tans and haven't tried this one yet.
Aussie Miracle Recharge Leave In Conditioner
I used always make sure I had a leave in conditioner on hand and used it every time I washed my hair. At the moment I'm actually using a hair oil in place of a leave in conditioner. I did like this when I was using it but honestly I don't think a leave in conditioner makes that much of a difference in my hair. I do think that it could make a difference if your hair is really damaged and dry. This particular conditioner smelled amazing as all Aussie products do. I would repurchase this if I wanted to use a leave in conditioner but as of now I don't think I'll be using this.

Garnier Ultimate Blends The Sleek Restorer Oil
I am a hair oil addict. So it's no surprise that I got through a whole bottle of hair oil! My hair is really thick and frizzy so I always adda  few drops of oil onto either wet or dry hair to calm the frizz and nourish the hair. This was the first time I tired this particular oil and I really liked it. I found it a bit thicker in comparison to other oils I have used so if you have thin hair I would give this one a skip. Because it is made with coconut oil you can probably guess how amazing this smells! I am currently using a different oil from L'Oreal but I will definitely repurchase this one in the future or even try another oil from the Ultimate Blends range.
Covergirl Clump Crusher Waterproof Mascara - Black/Brown
Last summer my brother Darragh went to America and of course I gave him a long beauty wishlist! You can see what he got me here. As I'm so pale I only wear brown mascara and it is so much easier to get in America so of course I had several on my wishlist. I have opened this about three months ago and I must say that it has dried up quite quickly in comparison to other mascaras that I have used. But I can deal with that because the mascara itself is amazing! The bush is a plastic curved wand which helps curl the lashes. Because the formula is waterproof this also helped the curl last much longer. If I could repurchase this I definitely would but unfortunately I can't. Will definitely be putting this on my America beauty wishlist again.

Maybeline Baby Skin Primer
This primer is a silicone-based primer which is great for filling in pores. I did really like this primer when I used it and I would definitely recommend it. It was very similar to Benefit's Porefessional primer in the way that they were both silicone-based and smoothed over the skin very nicely. I loved using this primer under makeup to create a base and almost a layer in between my skin and makeup. This primer wasn't drying in any way so it would be great for any skin type. Definitely if you haven't tried this before I would recommend it but I'm going to try other primers before I go and repurchase this particular one.
