An Evening With Retroflame

Hey guys! I know I have gone back to my usual schedule of Friday evening blogposts but I've decided that if I want to do any extra, mid week posts they will go up on a Tuesday evening.

 I wasn't going to do this blogpost as I have Friday's outfit post up and ready to go but when Sadhbh said this would make a fab blogpost I couldn't pass up the opportunity. 

 Yesterday evening I went to Erika Fox's Cork meet up in the Cork International Hotel. If you are a blogger yourself you definitely know this girl but if you don't, she has a fashion blog called 'Retro Flame' that is incredible. She is originally from Kerry but lives in New York so her Snapchat stories are full of Manhattan and SoHo adventures.

Originally I was going on my own but I convinced my friend Sadhbh from Sadhbhers.ie to come with me. I brought along my camera and took some photos of our evening. 

We were greeted with a champagne reception and of course some little nibbles. It was there we could take photos with Erika and have a chat with her and with other bloggers who were there. I actually met Zoe (ZoeCoCo) there which was lovely to see another friendly face.

After this we went into a little room that was down at the end of the restaurant (which looked amazing) to have a Q&A session with Erika. It was here I learned a lot about American visas, getting in contact with companies and how Erika grew 'Retro Flame'. Hearing other bloggers' questions and Erika's stories I must say that I was truly inspired. 

We also saw some items from Erika's depop account which were incredible! She is a fashion queen.

 I am definitely so motivated when it comes to all things blogging after attending the event last night. I now have plans for the future The Red Brunette and have so many ideas about how I'd like to grow and change over the next year.
