European Beauty Haul

Another Friday means another blogpost from me! I hope you're enjoying my twice weekly uploads. If you follow me on Snapchat you would have seen a sneak peek of this blogpost during the week  and if you don't you should follow me, my username is @ailbhe_woods.

Last week I was in Italy so of course I had to pop in to a Kiko store. My brother was also travelling and was interrailing around Europe so he picked me up some French skincare and some bits in Sephora. Last year he did the same and I told you all what happens when your brother is let loose in Sephora so I thought that I would have to share what he picked up again this year. I'll stop chatting and jump straight into my European beauty haul.

Kiko Radiant Fusion Baked Powder - 01 Ivory
When I first went onto the Kiko website I saw this powder and it seemed very like the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders. If you watched my Snapchat you would have seen that I dug my nail into the side of the powder which I am gutted about but it didn't smash completely so thats good! It's a gorgeous soft powder and I can't wait to give it a go to give a dewy look to the skin.
Kiko Nail Laquer - 336
4 years ago I went into Kiko for the first time and picked up a cobalt blue nail polish and a red lipstick so I decided to continue the tradition, especially since they were only a couple of euro each. Although I'm not the biggest fan of the formula of Kiko nail polish, I got this for the colour as I have nothing in my collection like it.
Kiko Long Lasting Eyeshadow Stick - 28 & 06
These were the first things that I put on my Kiko wish list many months ago. I found it quit hard to find eyeshadow crayons in the drugstore, so when I had the opportunity to pick these up I grabbed a few. I was so overwhelmed with the colour choice that was there so I gravitated to the neutral colours I know and love. 28 is a gorgeous champagne gold colour that will be perfect to smudge all over the lid. 06 is quite similar to the Maybeline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze, a cool toned light bronze which is perfect to use all over the eye.
Kiko Long Lasting Eyeshadow Stick -  04 & 37
Although 04 looks similar to 06 they are quite different. 04 is more of a warmer tone and is a bit darker to 06. Both colours are beautiful and because they were so cheap I decided to pick up both. The last shade I picked up was 37 which is a gorgeous shimmery burgundy. I was on the hunt for the Maybeline Colour Tattoo in Metallic Pomegranate but the I realised that it was discontinued so I hope this shade looks as similar on the eyes as it does swatched on my hand.

Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain - 05 Infinite Rose
I have been dying to try a liquid lipstick for ages now. The Sephora ones seem to be the 'original' ones so I decided to put them on my wish list. This shade is a gorgeous nudey pink, an almost 'my lips but better' shade. I am very excited to try this type of lip product. If I like the formula I might have to give the Bourjois and Nyx liquid lipsticks a go.
Kiko Smart Lipstick - 932
As I said earlier when I first went into Kiko I bought a blue nail polish and red lipstick so I decided to do the same on this shopping trip. This lipstick was around €3 so I said why not pick it up. It has quite a brown undertone without being too dark. I don't really wear red lipsticks often but I want to get into using them.
Kiko Gossamer Emotion Creamy Lipstick - 102
Because I found the huge range of makeup in the shop quite overwhelming I decided to stick my wish list. My good friend Cliona did a blogpost about this gorgeous lip duo. Because I trust her opinion I had to pick these up. The lipstick has incredible packaging and seems very creamy and pigmented. I can't wait to try it out.
Kiko Creamy Colour Comfort Lip Liner - 303
This lip liner is again inspired by Cliona. It seems a bit darker than the lipstick but they are still very similar, which means they will be great to use together. Once again this liner seems very creamy and would be comfortable on the lips. They were so inexpensive that I was tempted to pick up some more colours, but I already had loads in my basket so I said I'd refrain from doing more damage!

Sephora Collection Face Mask - Avocado & Lotus
I was really intrigued by the Becca highlighters and the Anastasia brow products but because I wouldn't be able to see the shades in person and they are quite expensive I decided to play it safe with my list from Sephora and ask Niall to pick up some of their sheet masks as I heard lots of good things about them. I haven't used these yet as I needed to take pictures of them first (such a blogger problem!) but I am dying to try them. I will be sure to update ye on Snapchat on my thoughts about the after I use them.
 La Roche Posay Serozinc
You can actually get all of these skincare products in Ireland now which is great, but they are twice the price here! Because my brother loves La Roche Posay I suggested that he stopped by a French pharmacy to pick up some of his favourite products, as well as some for me! This toner is incredible as it soothes the skin while fighting breakouts. The only reason why I don't use it on a regular basis is because it gets so expensive as it runs out pretty quickly!

Bioderma SensibioH20 Makeup Removing Micelle Solution
At the moment I am using the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish to remove my makeup and use micellar water to remove swatches from my hands. When I'm really tired and just want to hop straight into bed I just want something quick and simple to remove my makeup so I decided to ask Niall to pick some Bioderma up for me, as again it is much more expensive here in Ireland.

Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Balm
Just like the other products I mentioned, this lip balm is half the price over in France and I remember loving it when I used it the last time. I loved using it under lipsticks as it had a matte finish, so it didn't mess with the lipsticks' pigmentation. This balm smells amazing and really helps dry, sore and chapped lips. I can't wait to start using it again!
Have you gotten any European beauty products recently? Let me know if you have in the comments,

  2. Nice post! I am so annoyed I didn't get anything from Kiko when I was in Spain but I know that Kiko has come to the UK so hopefully in a little while it will be here.

    1. It's a lot easier to get your hands on nowadays which is great, I highly recommend checking them out! I know there are some scattered around Europe, they were all over Italy which I was delighted about,
